Terms of Service

01Your account

You need an account to generate ads. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us quickly if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must not be barred from using the service under applicable law.

02What the service does

You paste a product page URL. MakeThatAd reads the page, extracts the offer, proposes advertising angles, writes copy and generates creatives.

Output is generated automatically. It can be wrong, generic or unsuitable, and two people may receive similar results for similar products. Review everything before you spend money behind it.

03Who owns what

Your content

You keep everything you bring — product pages, brand assets, copy. You grant us the licence we need to host and process it in order to run the service, and nothing more.

The output

Subject to your plan being paid up, you own the creatives and copy the service generates for you, and you may use them commercially. We make no claim to them.

Ours

The software, the interface, the brand and the models behind them remain ours.

04Rules of use

Do not use MakeThatAd to:

• Advertise anything unlawful, or make claims you cannot substantiate
• Paste pages you have no right to use, or infringe someone else's trademark or copyright
• Impersonate a person or brand, or fabricate endorsements, reviews or testimonials
• Produce hateful, harassing, deceptive or sexually explicit advertising
• Scrape, resell or rebuild the service, or evade generation limits

You are responsible for making sure the ads you run comply with advertising law and with the policies of whatever platform you run them on.

05Plans and payment

Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Each plan includes a monthly generation allowance; going over it may require an upgrade.

Cancel any time from your account settings — access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, never mid-period.

06Refunds

If the service does not work as described in your first 14 days, write to us and we will refund that period. Beyond that, payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

07Availability

We aim to keep MakeThatAd running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or retire features. If we retire something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice and let you export your work.

08Ending things

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or that goes unpaid. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.

09Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, or indirect or consequential loss — including the performance of any advertising campaign. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10The small print

These terms are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term once does not waive it.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page and, where it matters, by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
